About the Role
Synergi is recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join one of the leading FMCG manufacturers based in the Nottingham area. This role offers the opportunity to develop and grow as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, working alongside other experienced Engineers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct reactive and planned maintenance on high‑speed production machinery.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to any unscheduled plant stoppages.
- Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Diagnose faults, identify problems on machinery and implement solutions.
- Oversee planned maintenance schedules.
Qualifications & Experience
- Recognised engineering qualification in Electrical Engineering; City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
- Heavy industrial experience (desirable) or background in Food, Pharmaceutical, FMCG.
- Experience working in a plant with pneumatic control and common industrial bearing systems.
- Good understanding of processes, products and all quality procedures.

- Up to £44,000 salary plus overtime at premium rates.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
