Inside IR35 Hybrid (2-3 days pw on site in London)

Duration: 3 months initial with strong chance of extension

Do you speak fluent HPC? Can you tell a legitimate MPI communicator from a suspicious one? We need someone who has lived and breathed supercomputing, not just read about it.

You'll be embedded in a high-profile delivery team building a code screening platform for a regulated client environment. Your deep knowledge of how HPC workloads actually behave is the difference between a system that works and one that drowns in false positives.

You'll map workflows, define what 'normal' looks like on a GPU cluster, and make sure the engineering team never builds something that falls apart when it meets real scientific code. You'll also be the trusted link between the delivery team and the client's supercomputing operations staff.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong experience in HPC, research computing, or scientific computing operations
  • Strong hands-on Slurm, MPI, CUDA, and multi-node GPU cluster experience
  • Comfortable in Python, C/C++, Fortran, understanding code, not just running it
  • Experience with parallel file systems and HPC data movement architectures
  • Ideally: national lab, supercomputing centre, or Cray/HPE environment background

If you're interested please send a current CV for review.
