An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join the finance team of a rapidly growing, well-managed business based in Leeds. This is an opportunity to work reduced hours, around 30 per week, although there is some flexibility to this. The business has established itself as a market leader within its sector and continues to experience significant growth, with ambitious expansion plans over the coming years. The successful candidate will take ownership of a high-volume accounts payable workload, ensuring invoices and supplier accounts are processed accurately and efficiently within defined deadlines. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices to the correct nominal accounts
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Supporting month-end processes and reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
