Job Description

Synergem Recruitment are currently partnering with a large, growing organisation to recruit an Interim Management Accountant. This is a hands-on role offering full ownership of the management accounts function, supporting both the finance team and senior leadership during a key period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full monthly management accounts production
  • Profit & Loss account preparation and reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • VAT returns
  • Assisting with year-end and liaising with auditors
  • Variance analysis and insightful reporting to stakeholders
  • Ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or QBE
  • Strong track record in management accounts, ideally within a fast-paced environment
  • Confident in producing end-to-end accounts with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge and support non-finance colleagues
  • Able to start at short notice and commit to the contract duration
