We’re working with a fast-growing SME in Yorkshire that’s undergoing a period of significant expansion. They’re looking to appoint a qualified Finance Manager to support the Finance Director and help drive both day-to-day financial operations and long-term strategic initiatives. This is a key role offering a broad remit, senior-level exposure, and the chance to make a real difference in a growing, entrepreneurial business.

The Role: As Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of core finance processes and play a pivotal role in supporting business decision-making. You’ll lead on monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and team management — while also getting involved in investor reporting and finance transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly management accounts with variance analysis
  • Preparation of budgets, revised forecasts, and cashflow models
  • Financial covenant reporting to external stakeholders
  • Oversight of balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns
  • Statutory accounts preparation and external audit support
  • Leading a team of 4 direct and 4 indirect reports
  • Supporting internal stakeholders with financial insight
  • Enhancing internal controls and improving processes
  • Preparing board packs and investor materials

The Ideal Candidate: ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
