Assistant Financial Controller - Hybrid & Flexible Working

We’re delighted to be partnering with a rapidly expanding group to recruit for a newly created Assistant Financial Controller role. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in preparing accurate consolidated management accounts and supporting financial compliance across the group. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts for the group * Lead the month-end reporting process for central overheads * Business partner with budget holders to review performance and forecasts * Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounts * Assist with group cashflow forecasting and VAT return reviews * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies * Support the FC with financial analysis and ad hoc projects Ideal Candidate: * Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience in a multi-entity environment * Strong analytical skills and the ability to build relationships across the business * Confident working in a fast-paced, evolving finance function What’s on Offer: * Hybrid working model * Full study support * Flexible holiday entitlement * Access to an employee assistance programme
