Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Translational Science Lead, Clinical Operations, Biostatistics/Bioinformatics, and Data Management teams to support and execute translational science strategies in clinical trials.
- Develop and provide operational input into all study‑related documentation and processes, ensuring collection, delivery, and analysis of biomarker samples in compliance with these documents and with GCP/ICH requirements.
- Serve as the single point of contact for biomarker operations across functions, as well as with collaborators and CROs.
- Provide biomarker operational expertise and guidance to study teams, ensuring that learnings are shared across studies and programs; identify areas of best practice and opportunities for process improvement.
- Work with Data Management on the set‑up and application of biomarker‑relevant pages, coordination of data formats and delivery timelines, development of data transfer specifications, and ensuring timely and efficient data delivery (data transfers, reconciliation, analysis, reports).
- Support mutual data transfers with Companion Diagnostics (CDx) partners for regulatory submissions, if needed.
- Manage lab vendors, including contracting, data quality control, delivery timelines, data transfers, and reporting.
- Oversee implementation and execution of clinical biomarker sample logistics and operations, including site feasibility and training, development of sample management plans and lab manuals, and monitoring of sample delivery.
- Provide real‑time sample oversight and drive ongoing sample reconciliation to support selection of samples for analysis.
- Support data analysis, including processing data files, curation and integration of datasets, and generation of tables, figures, and listings.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree with significant industry experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong background in clinical drug development and precision medicine.
- Hands‑on clinical laboratory experience with clinical sample processing/analysis.
- Solid project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing global vendors and external partners.
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Proven leadership in cross‑functional, multicultural, and geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates self‑awareness, openness to feedback, and continuous learning.
