Job Responsibilities

Syneos Health is seeking an experienced EMEA Compensation & Benefits contractor to provide hands-on support during a critical period of Rewards team transformation. Reporting to the Global Compensation Lead, this role will focus on EU regulatory readiness, EMEA C&B compliance, and advisory support to shape the future-state Rewards operating model.

Key Responsibilities

  • EU Pay Transparency Directive — Lead support for implementation planning, including a readiness assessment and action plan to ensure compliance with the Directive's requirements.
  • EMEA C&B Compliance — Conduct a comprehensive compliance assessment across EMEA markets, identifying risks and delivering prioritized recommendations.
  • Rewards Team Design Advisory — Assess the current EMEA compensation and benefits landscape to inform the design of the future-state Rewards team structure.
  • Ad Hoc Advisory — Provide strategic and operational guidance aligned to the broader Rewards initiatives.

Key Deliverables

  • EU Pay Transparency readiness assessment with clear required actions
  • EMEA compliance risk assessment with prioritized recommendations
  • Practical insights and recommendations to support the interim and longer-term Rewards operating model

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Extensive EMEA Compensation & Benefits leadership experience
  • Deep experience supporting a global enterprise organization
  • Strong, hands-on compensation and benefits expertise within the pharmaceutical industry, including global transformation programs
  • Direct experience with EU regulatory and pay transparency requirements
