Job Responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site and remote monitoring of clinical research studies to ensure compliance with clinical practices and study protocols.
• Develop, implement tools and procedures to ensure quality monitoring, including templates for monitoring reports.
• Participate in design and implementation of protocols and study methodology.
• Manage and direct work of lower‑level professionals, providing guidance on day‑to‑day activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of activities and prepare comprehensive reports for regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with data management, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs teams.
• Identify and resolve issues related to study conduct and data integrity.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on monitoring techniques and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3‑5 years experience in clinical research.
• In‑depth knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or equivalent preferred.

Necessary Skills

• Proficiency in clinical trial management systems and software.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure regulatory and protocol compliance during all monitoring activities.
• Evaluate site performance and recommend site‑specific actions.
• Verify informed consent and protect patient confidentiality.
• Conduct source document review and apply query resolution techniques.
• Document activities via letters and trip reports.
• Manage site‑level activities to meet project objectives.
• Provide direct supervision, training, and mentorship to junior CRAs.
