The Associate Director, Commercial Recruiting Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the recruitment processes and systems to ensure efficient and effective hiring practices. This role involves enabling the day-to-day operations of the recruiting team, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement in recruitment. In this role you will have responsibility for system administration, configuration and implementation alongside providing strategic advisement to senior leadership on recruitment strategies and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Evaluate and refine recruiting workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Inclusive of enabling technology to support efficiency and attention to support an effective candidate experience.
  • Strategic Advisement: Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic insights and recommendations on recruitment strategies, workforce planning, and talent acquisition initiatives. Contribute to the development of long-term recruitment goals and objectives.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues in the recruiting process, implementing solutions to improve operations.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the recruiting operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • System Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization.
  • Recruitment Marketing: Develop and execute recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent for Europe. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams in developing engaging multimedia content—including videos, graphics, job ad copy, and social media posts—to attract and recruit top talent. Proficiency with Canva or similar design tools is preferred.
  • Enabling Through Analytics: Develop and analyze recruiting metrics and reports to provide actionable insights. Use data to enable the recruiting team to make informed decisions, optimize their strategies, and improve overall performance.
  • Onboarding/Compliance: Ensure recruiting practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Support through onboarding enablement and resolution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to align recruiting operations with organizational goals.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for the recruiting and hiring teams to enhance their skills and knowledge. Develop and maintain resources: In addition to training documentation maintain recruitment resources inclusive of the recruiting intranet site.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in recruiting operations or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of regional differences in recruitment processes, systems, laws and regulations.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience supporting recruitment marketing or related field.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools to track and report on recruiting metrics.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and adjust to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to travel into the office for meetings as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ATS, CRM, recruitment vendors and other relevant tools.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.
  • Experience leading a team of operation specialists.
  • Experience in providing strategic advisement to senior leadership.
