Description
The primary purpose of this role is to serve as the key day-to-day contact for the client, bringing a proactive, solutions-focused approach to overseeing significant digital and global-to-local projects. You will lead with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, ensuring timely, high-quality, and profitable delivery while fostering innovation and excellence within the team. Your expertise will drive the growth of client relationships, continually seeking opportunities to add value and implement cutting-edge solutions. By actively collaborating with both internal and external teams, you will unite stakeholders around common goals and help shape the future of client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
CLIENT SERVICES MANAGEMENT:
- Develop meaningful client relationships to secure agency business and ensure client satisfaction
- Manage/delegate tactical and administrative processes
- Play an active role in strategic development of accounts
COMMITTED TO CUSTOMER ALWAYS:
- Have a strong understanding of the wider network of client stakeholders and their needs
- Excellent at actively listening and communicating transparently
- Able to distinguish what is most important to client from that which is not
- Aims to know the client business as well as they do
STRATEGIC THINKING AND LEADERSHIP:
- Oversee and provide guidance to ensure best approach and successful project execution
- Demonstrate some strategic thinking beyond individual campaigns
- Have an appetite to achieve more and distills this within teams
COMMERCIAL ACUMEN:
- Develop accurate budget proposals for 200k-400k sized projects, accountable for monitoring time and costs throughout project delivery
- Involved in driving business development and organic growth strategies and has experience in new business pitching
- A master of financial reporting; timesheet management, actuals, billing, forecasting, and reconciliations. Able to report revenue to the management team and answer queries on it. Provide timely clear financial reporting to client, flagging risks before they occur.
OWNERSHIP & ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Is the day-to-day champion of the brand, internally and externally
- Understands their decisions impact revenue, client retention, and agency reputation.
COLLABORATION:
- Actively builds strong team dynamics and unites stakeholders around common goals
- Mentor more junior level team members and ensure they feel supported. Similarly support senior staff by managing up
- Supports line-reports to fulfil personal ambitions through ongoing line and performance management

- Identifies projects for organic growth opportunities

- Leads the incorporation of new technologies and improved approaches into workstreams

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Degree Educated
- Experience at SAM level
- Strong healthcare communications experience
- The ability to coordinate multiregional client teams โ globally and locally
- Working knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice and the ability to ensure adherence to it
- Strong written communications skills
- Proficient skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- An excellent understanding of the digital landscape, how to run digital projects and how to apply Gen AI
- The ability to develop and effectively communicate project timelines.
- Attention to detail and good proofreading skills
- Proactivity โ the ability to anticipate client requirements
- Solution focused โ suggestion of ideas and recommendations where appropriate
- Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively
