• Job Responsibilities
• Lead strategy development conveyed in proposal documents, ensuring alignment with company style, branding, messaging, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (BD, operations, medical, finance, proposals) to develop concise, creative strategies that articulate customer needs and win themes for new business awards.
• Create high‑quality, customized, and compelling proposal documents focused on customer solutions that highlight differentiation, innovation, and operational strategy.
• Actively drive proposal strategy from concept through final delivery and engage in shaping study‑specific strategy by recommending cross‑organizational services, tools, and technology.
• Challenge stakeholders to think creatively, proposing innovative solutions that align with customer and patient needs.
• Research each assigned project indication, applying learnings to inform discussions, strategy, and content development.
• Drive actions by clearly communicating project milestones and team responsibilities, adapting as priorities shift while meeting deadlines.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and decision makers to expedite problem solving and promote seamless collaboration.
• Identify key content for archiving, proactively fill gaps, and develop new content to enhance competitive position.
• Serve as the document owner and writer for high‑profile RFPs, RFIs, and proactive outreach projects, synthesizing input into cohesive, persuasive narratives.
• Resolve conflicts and remove barriers to maintain progress toward high‑quality deliverables.
• Consistently meet deadlines by establishing priorities, target dates, and approvals from key stakeholders including executive leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in life sciences, marketing, communications, business administration, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry with technical writing, communications, or marketing experience; proposal experience strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of the drug development process, functional operations, and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to evaluate scientific and business information and use conclusions to write persuasive and technical sales documents.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and experience with Share Point; additional industry‑related tools preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluent in English.
• Strong project and process management skills, with ability to lead and mentor others.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a deadline‑driven environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Comfortable engaging with executive and senior management.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a matrix environment.
• Resourceful, proactive, and skilled at multitasking under tight deadlines.
• Strong orientation toward customer service and high level of personal responsibility and quality.
• Passion for turning complex ideas into compelling stories.
