Job Responsibilities:

  • Support pre-award solutions planning with R&R Solution Strategists, Proposals and BD teams, supporting standard RFP and ‘additional bid’ submissions.
  • Take responsibility for representing R&R services at Bid Defense Meetings and customer engagements, engaging other SMEs as required in support of solutions awards.
  • Understand the impact and implementation of solutions relating to recruitment and retention.
  • Embrace a ‘growth mindset’ to increase studies benefiting from site and patient solutions at start of study.
  • Effectively manage Recruitment & Retention strategy from planning to close-out, including finalization of Patient Recruitment Plans (PRPs) from BDM to Quick Start Camp (QSC).
  • Partner closely with R&R Operations Leads and Specialists to ensure timely quality delivery of solutions.
  • Participate in enrollment review sessions and support cross-team goals with proactive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with PLs, DPDs and others to effectively manage sponsor escalations as primary point of contact.
  • Ensure reporting and tracking of R&R solutions in specified Syneos Health systems (e.g. PDC R&R Health Assessment).
  • Utilize critical thinking and strategic messaging to articulate solutions value proposition.
  • Proactively work with data scientist, R&R Solution Delivery Specialists, R&R Solution Strategists, R&R Operations team and others to track and identify trends, learnings, and predict outcomes.
  • Prioritize solutioning with focus on timely enrollment strategies and study-specific therapeutic category, geographies and distinct protocol with lens on reducing site and patient burden.
  • Ensure regular communication and cross-solving with internal partners, customers, R&R operations, and other Directors.
  • Continually learn about cross-team solutions, planned innovations and help ideate based on learned experiences and market needs.
  • Actively listen for project support opportunities and prospective customer opportunities for standalone business.
  • Be responsible for collating feedback on 3rd party vendors and engaging assigned vendors in governance meetings.
  • Participate in partner meetings and trainings to meet internal partner and customer needs.

The Internal Account Director effectively articulates project-specific solutions value proposition, builds and maintains strong relationships with internal partners, customers and vendors, and liaises with customer delivery leads to ensure client satisfaction. They analyze market trends, competition, and client feedback to make data-driven and customer aligned recommendations and support improvements to products or services. This role requires therapeutic expertise, excellent communication, negotiation, collaboration and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of the company's recruitment and retention products or services.
