Location: United Kingdom or Canada – candidates must be located in the respective country with no sponsorship required.

Short Description: Supports day‑to‑day operational and technical activities for Real‑World Evidence and Epidemiology studies, including documentation, literature searches, basic data quality checks, and milestone readiness support.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and maintain study trackers, publication trackers, and other operational documentation.
  • Conduct simple or rapid literature searches and support references; does not perform in‑depth literature reviews.
  • Perform code lookup and basic data quality checks to support rapid reviews and ensure data completeness and accuracy.
  • Execute assigned tasks to support milestone readiness (e.g., publication packages, data summaries).
  • Support meeting preparation and follow‑up documentation.
  • Handle urgent / ad hoc requests from study teams and functional leads.
  • Flag operational risks, delays, or inconsistencies to the Senior Manager / Pfizer Lead.
  • Support inspection and audit readiness activities as assigned.
  • Assist with development of analysis planning documents and table shells, and collaborate closely with programmers.

Qualifications:

  • PhD required.
  • Experience in epidemiology or a related field within industry.
  • Experience in study operations.
  • Experience working in a matrixed team environment.
  • Experience supporting documentation, trackers, literature searches, or QC tasks.
  • Experience supporting operational or technical tasks in research, epidemiology, or RWE settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within matrix or vendor environments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with defined deadlines.
  • Ability to flag operational risks or issues.
