Position Overview

This Pharmacy Sales Representative supports the promotion of the customer’s OTC products across multiple brand lines and indications.

The role requires identifying local pharmacies to develop local, regional and national business plans that deliver calls through both traditional and remote interactions and marketing initiatives across the assigned territory.

The representative will ensure operational targets are met by identifying the appropriate engagement channel, gaining consent, and applying data and insight to drive smart, informed, value‑based conversations with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Cover an agreed territory and develop value‑based interactions with pharmacists.
  • Deliver a well‑defined business plan within budget and agreed timelines.
  • Achieve other key performance indicators as directed.
  • Successfully complete distance learning and initial training programme.
  • Use CRM system to support planning, sequential selling and territory analysis.
  • Educate pharmacists on the safe, appropriate and effective use of the products and future portfolio to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in regional and national team meetings to drive collaboration, support and share best practice.
  • Comply with all Syneos Health and customer SOPs and codes of ethical practice.
  • Ensure all activity is compliant with local rules and regulations.
  • Travel to support customer engagements and key sales delivery activities.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences.
  • Required experience in healthcare, medical or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and selling skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workload depending on program needs.
  • Ability to multi‑task between numerous tools and applications.
  • Willingness to collaborate with team colleagues, sharing best practice for the team's success.
