Overview
An important role in helping to scale Syneos Health Communications’ generative AI capabilities.
Working centrally across advertising, PR and med comms teams this will involve a mix of technical ability, internal collaboration and advocacy, as well as client facing capability.
This hands‑on role will be based in either Europe and US (two roles to be filled), with day‑to‑day access to internal and client teams, both virtually and face to face in order to participate in meetings, workshops and training as needed.
Responsibilities
- Working with central Communications innovation function to drive and scale adoption of cutting‑edge generative AI tools and techniques across the Comms business.
- Helping to develop and manage existing and future generative AI tools, with an initial focus on retrieval augmented generation (RAG).
- Working with internal teams to help educate and support their journey to fully embracing generative AI.
- Participating in conversations with Comms clients about these new generative AI approaches, designing and delivering billable client projects.
Experience and Skills Required
- Strong level of knowledge in generative AI and related technologies and techniques, demonstrable level of interest in the latest developments in this field.
- Good knowledge of Python, ability to write and edit code, ability to help identify, structure and prep data for input into RAG tools, as well as some front‑end developer experience.
- Background in computer science and or data science.
- Good communication capabilities in terms of being able to explain and educate internal teams around new technologies.
- Comfort with and some experience in working in client facing situations, in order to help identify, design and deliver gen AI related projects and pilots.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think analytically and strategically.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
