The Role:
As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of various projects - ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and in accordance with governance frameworks. You’ll work directly with clients across private and public sector, particularly balancing the technical and operational demands of delivery with the agility and pace of modern project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute and manage the end-to-end delivery of projects for clients.
- Define and manage project scope, objectives, success criteria, deliverables, timelines and budgets for assigned projects.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, policy analysts, vendors and security/compliance leads.
- Lead regular reporting and governance cycles, including updates for governance boards, steering committees and external audits.
- Coordinate procurement activities and supplier management where applicable.
- Identify, assess and manage delivery risks, implementing appropriate mitigation actions and escalating issues where required.
- Maintain accurate and timely project reporting, providing weekly status updates in line with agreed reporting cycles and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering projects in structured or regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, risks, issues and delivery plans effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work collaboratively and with confidence across teams, demonstrating approachability, professionalism and a willingness to support others to achieve shared outcomes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and consistent reporting.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
- Experience with digital or SaaS-based delivery environments desirable.
- Familiarity with project reporting tools and delivery artefacts (e.g. plans, RAID logs, dashboards).
- PRINCE2, APM, PMP or similar certification.
