Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data professionals, overseeing line management, performance reviews, and career development.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching, mentoring, and training to support individual and team growth.
• Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement processes.
• Support migration from a legacy UK on‑premise SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS stack to a modern Databricks + Power BI solution hosted in AWS/Azure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new technologies.
• Act as the key point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business needs and analytics delivery.
• Translate business requirements into actionable data initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing and developing high‑performing analytics or data teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
• Solid technical background in data platforms, ideally with exposure to SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS (legacy) and Databricks, Power BI, AWS (modern stack).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model with regular office presence in Stoke‑on‑Trent.
