Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to shape and scale a multi-tenant data integration platform on Google Cloud Platform.
You’ll lead the design and delivery of reliable ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow, improve CI/CD and platform automation, and create clear end-to-end data lineage from source systems to downstream vendors.
What you’ll do
- Lead platform architecture, technical roadmap, and engineering delivery.
- Design and develop scalable Airflow pipelines using Python.
- Improve reliability through retries, idempotency, reconciliation, and resilient failure handling.
- Evolve multi-tenant architecture, configuration, and metadata-driven processing.
- Strengthen CI/CD, automated testing, security checks, and deployment processes.
- Implement observability, monitoring, alerting, and data lineage.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, architecture, governance, and vendor teams.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, or Senior Data Engineer.
- Strong production experience with Apache Airflow, Python, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Hands-on GCP experience with services such as Big Query, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, GKE, or Cloud Run.
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code—ideally Terraform—and cloud security.
- Knowledge of multi-tenant platforms, data quality, observability, or lineage is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
