What You'll Do:
- Partner with Product Owners to understand requirements and translate them into focused, deliverable items.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable microservices following DevOps and Agile principles.
- Take ownership of end-to-end delivery — from design to deployment.
- Provide rapid production support, troubleshoot incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for platform users, resolving queries and removing blockers efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and stakeholders to ensure continuous platform evolution.
- Proactively address technical debt, and uphold security and vulnerability standards.
- Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
What We're Looking For:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or technical lead role in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
- Strong understanding of modern microservice architectures, HTTP, DNS, TLS, load balancing, reverse proxies, service meshes, and API gateways.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or Clojure.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and InfluxDB.
- Proven ability to manage critical production incidents under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with geographically distributed teams.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
