  • Contribute to backend/API integration work (and occasionally service improvements) in a .NET ecosystem to support mobile features.
  • Ensure reliability, responsiveness, and strong user experience across a range of devices, OS versions, and network conditions (including offline considerations where needed).
  • Implement automated testing, participate in code reviews, and support CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
  • Monitor and optimize app performance, stability, battery usage, and telemetry; troubleshoot production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data privacy, and secure coding practices.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, stand-ups) and deliver iteratively with the team.

  • Working knowledge of .NET backend development and API fundamentals (able to collaborate effectively and contribute where needed).
  • Familiarity with GCP-hosted services and mobile-relevant cloud components (e.g., Firebase, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub or equivalents).
  • Experience with CI/CD and release tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Fastlane, Bitrise, Azure DevOps or similar).
  • Understanding of security best practices for mobile (secure storage, certificate pinning awareness, threat modelling mindset).

Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned.
