Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage and deliver projects for a banking client. The role involves planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring successful delivery of projects within scope, time, cost, and quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project delivery from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business, operations, technology, and vendors.
- Track project progress, manage risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to governance, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and provide clear communication to stakeholders.
- Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support PMO reporting, metrics tracking, and audits as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5–10+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and dependencies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
Tools & Technology:
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification.
- Prior experience working with banking clients or regulated environments.
- Exposure to operations, technology, or transformation projects within banking.
