Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to join an exciting digital replatforming programme and help transform legacy platforms into intuitive, scalable, user-centred experiences.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing product decisions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary Agile teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead UX design across a major replatforming and digital transformation programme.
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and research analysis.
- Turn user insights into clear, effective design solutions.
- Create journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Design experiences for complex data, workflows, and business processes.
- Embed UX and continuous discovery into Agile delivery teams.
- Facilitate ideation, journey-mapping, and design workshops.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, and senior stakeholders.
- Help improve UX processes, standards, and design maturity across the organisation.
- Design practical solutions within legacy-system and technical constraints.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of professional UX design experience.
- Strong expertise in user research, interaction design, and user-centred design.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and/or Axure.
- Experience delivering journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Experience working with complex systems, data structures, and workflows.
- Strong experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
- A degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience in financial services, banking, fintech, insurance, or another regulated industry.
- Understanding of legacy systems and user migration strategies.
- Knowledge of React, HTML, CSS3, accessibility, or design systems.
- Experience leading initiatives that improve design maturity.
