Job Title: Junior IT Support Engineer
Location: London Victoria
Work Arrangement: 6 month initial contract (will extend beyond), 5 days per week on-site
We are seeking a hands-on Junior IT Support Engineer to provide first-line technical support to our office and remote staff. This role is ideal for a natural problem solver who thrives on learning new technologies, enjoys tackling complex technical challenges, and wants to grow their IT skills in a dynamic environment. You will be the go-to person for diagnosing and resolving diverse technology issues, thinking creatively to find solutions while ensuring our distributed team can work efficiently without technical interruptions.

Key responsibilities
- Daily Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for end users across hardware and software
- Provide remote support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools
- Set up and configure new user workstations for office and remote employees
- Maintain and troubleshoot video conferencing room equipment and software
- Guide users through troubleshooting with clear communication and patience
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies
- Communicate system outages or maintenance windows to staff
- Documentation & Communication
- Document common issues and solutions for future reference
- Track and log support tickets and resolutions
- Provide basic training to users on new software or procedures
- System Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain office computer systems and network infrastructure
- Ensure security protocols are followed for both on-site and remote workers
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups
