Our challenge: We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Architecture and Migration Design Specialist to lead the design, planning, and execution of OpenShift architectures and migration strategies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing robust, scalable, and secure OpenShift environments, as well as creating and implementing migration plans for transitioning workloads and applications to OpenShift. Experience with VMware and Pure Storage is essential to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

Program Description: We are working on an exciting new initiative to build an Enterprise Knowledge Graph by harnessing the power of Graph and Semantic technologies to map complex application, data, and infrastructure asset relationships to facilitate data-driven insights and decision making. Across our business divisions, as we strive to understand risk impact, optimize cost, assess business resiliency, manage change and identify opportunities - all critical to fuel the growth engine - we need to link vast amounts of data of different types and forms across heterogeneous data sources across the Firm to generate meaningful intelligence.

Role: The “Firmwide Data Office” department is recruiting an enthusiastic, dynamic “Senior Business Analyst” for this innovative program that plans to harness the power of Graph & Semantic Technologies. You will be contributing to using our Enterprise Knowledge Graph to help solve complex business problems around Data Lineage, Resilience, Cyber Response, Metadata Management, Data protection all contributing to the Firm’s overall data strategy.

You’ll combine your business knowledge, project management skills and business analysis background with our engineering and product development teams to produce outstanding technology capabilities, with measurable business impacts. You’ll work with a highly inspired and inquisitive team of technologists who are developing & delivering top quality technology products to our clients & stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Driving and prioritizing business requirements from multiple stakeholders, focusing on Resilience, Cyber and Incident Response.
  • Ensuring user-stories outlining the business need within a technical framework are aligned with the program’s strategic priorities and stated business outcomes.
  • Harness the power of a semantic triple store and graph database to help answer complex business questions, delivering insights and inference capabilities.
  • Work with the technology and data teams to help align requirements to application development within a graph framework, with a focused business impact.
  • Work within an Agile framework, emphasizing capabilities that contribute to business value.
  • Present business-impacting deliverables to senior stakeholders.
  • Track adoption and usage of tooling, and collect feedback and requirements through stakeholder engagement.
  • Align data requirements to application development within a graph framework.
  • Contribute to data modeling to ensure it can support a variety of use-cases from traditional reporting, to application UIs and LLM-based chatbots and RAG query/responses.
  • Act as a role model to junior analysts, data scientists, business analysts and developers.
  • Help build a rapidly growing team in a competitive environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 8+ years of relevant experience in Data and Business Analysis.
  • Background in one or more of the following: Operational Risk, Resilience, Cyber Event Management, or incident response.
  • Familiarity with applying cutting edge technology with solving business problems.
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, including defining, implementing and reporting on progress and business impact.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders, bringing different teams together to execute on a plan towards a common goal.
  • Significant experience in Program Management for large transformation projects, with understanding of high-quality governance practices.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to capture requirements, user stories and convert them into development deliverables.
