The Role

You will own and evolve the Jenkins Shared Library, focusing on delivering fast, secure, and provenance‑rich pipelines that strengthen software supply‑chain integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Python Tooling: Extend Python scripts for SLSA provenance, SBOM generation, and security scan aggregation (SonarQube, SAST, etc.).
  • Optimization: Enhance performance through parallel builds, caching, and dependency prefetching.
  • Integrity & Security: Ensure artifact integrity via SHA‑mapping and reproducible inputs while refactoring legacy scripts to modern standards.
  • Mentorship: Act as a subject‑matter expert for engineers on secure pipeline development and supply‑chain practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 7+ years in engineering, with at least 3 years focused on CI/CD platforms or DevSecOps.

  • Proficiency with SonarQube, Sonatype IQ, and container/SAST scanning.
  • Knowledge of Maven, NPM, Python packaging, and exposure to Helm/Terraform.
