Synechron is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to join our People team, supporting the delivery of employee benefits programmes across EMEA and APAC. This is a hands-on role with real ownership of defined processes, requiring someone who can execute with precision and look for ways to improve how we work. The successful candidate will work closely with the Benefits Manager, supporting benefit renewals, managing cyclical activities, and assisting with the implementation of new benefit programmes. The role will initially focus on EMEA markets, with a view to expanding into APAC over time.

The right candidate will be hands-on and delivery focused, able to build effective relationships with stakeholders, and thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.

  • Renewals & Broker Management: Own end-to-end benefit renewals for designated EMEA markets, working with external brokers and benefit providers to manage the full renewal cycle. Partner effectively with local HR, legal, finance, and procurement teams to ensure effective delivery of benefit renewals. Maintain accurate records of policy details, renewal dates, and broker correspondence.
  • Cyclical Activities & Administration: Manage cyclical benefit activities including the annual enrolment windows and associated employee-facing communications. Co-ordinate with external vendors and providers to organise employee webinars and information sessions, supporting broader employee engagement. Prepare benefits data for reporting purposes.
  • Projects & Implementation: Support the implementation of new benefit programmes across EMEA markets, including project planning, employee communication, and building supporting processes. Act as a point of escalation for tier 2 employee benefit queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. Support the preparation of benefits reporting and management information for senior stakeholders including renewal summaries, spend analysis and benchmarking data. Provide ad-hoc project support across the benefits function as required.
  • Process Improvement & Technology: Proactively identify opportunities to automate and streamline benefits processes, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency across the team. Maintain and update benefits content across internal platforms, including policy documents, knowledge articles, and process guides, ensuring information is accurate and accessible for employees. Stay up to date with benefits legislation and market trends to support programme compliance across EMEA markets.

Experience: Demonstrable experience in employee benefits, ideally across multiple EMEA countries. Experience supporting benefit renewals end to end and a strong understanding of the full renewal cycle, including broker and provider management, is essential. Experience supporting or owning cyclical benefit processes such as annual enrolment windows. Experience working within a fast-moving corporate or professional services environment. Strong organisational skills with a diligent, methodical approach and high attention to detail. Ability to operate effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment with multiple shifting priorities. Ability to take ownership and drive tasks through to completion. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — comfortable working with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. Comfortable working autonomously and using own initiative, while knowing when to escalate and seek guidance. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday) is a plus. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, tact, and good judgement.
