Performance Creative Strategist (Part-time Equity only)

Syndi is building a modern platform for lottery syndicates — making it easier for people to play together, share more lines, manage payments, track results and enjoy the lottery as a team.

Our core belief is simple: lottery is a team sport.

We are an early-stage consumer startup backed by a founding/advisory team with experience from Meta, Google and McKinsey , and we are looking for a Performance Creative Strategist to help shape our paid social creative engine.

About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on creative thinker who can develop strong static ad concepts, create/edit visual assets, follow social media trends, and turn ideas into testable paid social creatives.

This role sits at the intersection of creative strategy, visual execution, social media research and performance marketing .

You should be comfortable moving from idea to execution — researching what works, creating concepts, editing images, briefing creators, testing variations and learning from performance data.

What you’ll do

  • Develop static ad concepts for Meta, Instagram and other paid social channels
  • Create and edit visual assets using tools like Canva, Photoshop, Figma or similar
  • Use AI tools to support image generation, editing, concept development and creative variation
  • Research social media trends, competitor ads, creator formats and winning hooks
  • Turn insights into structured creative tests across different angles, formats and audiences
  • Write clear headlines, hooks and simple ad copy
  • Create briefs for UGC creators and designers where needed
  • Organise creative assets, naming conventions and testing trackers
  • Review performance data and recommend what to improve, iterate or scale

What we’re looking for

  • 4-5 years of experience as a creative strategist at a recognised media agency / client
  • Understanding of paid media
  • Strong eye for aesthetics, layout, typography and visual composition
  • Good hands-on ability with Canva, Photoshop, Figma, CapCut, Adobe Express or similar tools
  • Experience creating static ads, social media graphics or paid social creatives
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and what makes people stop scrolling
  • Ability to research, analyse and structure creative ideas methodically
  • Comfortable using AI tools for creative production and image editing
  • Clear, simple copywriting ability
  • Creative mindset, but also structured and commercially aware
  • Proactive, fast-moving and comfortable in an early-stage startup environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with Meta/Instagram ads
  • Experience with UGC briefs or creator-led campaigns
  • Experience with consumer apps, fintech, gaming, entertainment, sport or community-led products
  • Understanding of creative testing and performance marketing metrics

Compensation

This is a part-time, equity-only role at this stage.

It is best suited for someone who wants to join early, help shape the creative direction of a consumer startup and share in the upside as Syndi grows.
