We’re looking for highly social, proactive and entrepreneurial people to help build local, real-world communities around Syndi through meetups, events and in-person engagement. This is a highly community-facing role focused on organising local meetups, growing communities and bringing people together through real-world social experiences. This is not a purely online/social media community management role.
What You’ll Do
- Create and grow local communities through platforms such as Meetup, WhatsApp and Facebook Groups
- Organise and host in-person meetups and social events
- Meet and engage with people in your local community
- Help introduce people to Syndi and lottery syndicate play
- Build relationships with local venues, cafés, pubs and coworking spaces
- Recruit and engage new community members
- Gather feedback and community insights
- Help grow awareness of Syndi locally
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in events, community building, PR, hospitality, nightlife, grassroots marketing or social organising
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people
- Highly proactive, organised and self-driven
- Confident hosting social gatherings or meetups
- Familiar with platforms such as Meetup, WhatsApp Communities or Facebook Groups
- Strong local network is a plus
- Interest in startups, community-led brands and social experiences
Compensation
- We offer a flexible, performance-aligned compensation structure including: compensation per approved event organised
