ROLE
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about SEO and with proven experience in a similar role working either agency or client side. The candidate will be responsible for executing advanced SEO campaigns for the group’s e-commerce websites; and therefore, must have had proven success in executing advanced level SEO strategies which has had a significant impact on search engine rankings. The candidate should also have experience in building communities.
Key accountabilities
- Ensure SEO is embedded within all aspects of our businesses.
- Develop strategies and tactics to optimise the ROI for specific campaigns
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, analysis, and make relevant recommendations and execution to increase ROI.
- Perform competitive analysis to help drive future search engine strategies.
- Develop, analyse and report on the overall search engine marketing program success with regard to relevant metrics and factors e.g. SEO – SERP increases, change in traffic, CTR increases and indexed links.
- SEO copywriting, manage content creation and syndication.
- Site analytics (Google Analytics).
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dedicated search engine marketing role.
- Degree in marketing or a related discipline.
- Excellent knowledge of the search engine industry, search engine algorithms and ranking strategies.
- Understanding of web analytics and paid search bid optimization tools.
- The ability to create reports; understands ROI and selects relevant data for analysing future actions.
- Understanding of social media and community websites i.e. Twitter, Facebook, etc.
- Highly numerate with good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and team player.
