An opportunity to join Shogun Audio, one of the most established label groups operating within the Drum & Bass world. Our brands Shogun Audio, Elevate Records, Temple Publishing and EST Studios are world leaders in their respective fields and we’re looking for a full-time Marketing Assistant to join our growing team.
To support and assist the marketing team to deliver best in class music, event, and merch marketing campaigns across the Shogun Audio label group.
The RoleIn conjunction with the Label and Marketing team assisting with communicating campaign timelines and plans with artists, managers, and key stakeholders. Responsible for supplying and liaising with artists, managers, and key stakeholders with marketing assets and information. Responsible for collecting and maintaining visual assets and information for use across our websites, social media and emails. Organising and managing the accurate and organised record keeping and filing of marketing assets within our cloud-sharing services. Responsible for the scheduling of posts via social media management software. Responsible for the timely and accurate maintenance and uploads of our D2C platforms such as YouTube, Shopify, Bandcamp and Soundcloud. Managing the collection and reporting of data/stats relating to social media and email marketing and DSP performance. Assisting at live events and content days. General support at label events as required. Other duties assigned by the Head of Operations or Managing Director.
Education & ExperienceIdeally a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing environment. Degree in Marketing or Business Studies or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Editorial experience and/or excellent copywriting skills.
RequirementsIn-depth knowledge of Shogun Audio brands, drum & bass, and the electronic music industry. In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their audience (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter etc.). Desire and ability to partner and collaborate closely with internal and external teams. A D&B fanatic with a passion for music and visual arts. Proactive attitude and ability to independently solve challenges. Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and a drive to succeed in new challenges. Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with many different departments/personalities. Ability to work well and collaborate in a team environment. Outstanding organizational and time management skills. Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access).
Other RequirementsAvailable to travel when required. Able to work in the Brighton office at least 2 days a week. Able to work remotely when required.
