Company Overview
Our client is a fast‑growing, UK‑wide services group headquartered in West Sussex. Backed by long‑term private equity investors, the business has scaled rapidly through organic growth and a proven M&A strategy, with multiple acquisitions completed in 2025 and an ongoing pipeline for the next 12‑18 months.
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end M&A integration activity across a growing, ambitious organisation. If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, enjoy bringing structure to complexity, and have a passion for delivering value through well‑executed integrations, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full end‑to‑end project management of M&A integrations.
- Support pre‑acquisition due diligence activity, including data analysis and identification of potential synergies and/or issues.
- Develop high‑level integration plans by understanding existing systems & processes and how they can be adopted and adapted into the wider group.
- Build and manage post‑transaction activity trackers, in order to provide monthly updates to the business leadership team & board.
- Act as overall project lead for post‑transaction integration, working closely with support services, operational stakeholders, and commercial leadership teams.
- Ensure the business is fully prepared for integration and oversee execution across all functions.
- Provide regular reporting to the commercial leadership team and board on progress, risks and opportunities.
- Manage the full post‑integration review and execution process, ensuring training is delivered, actions completed, and remaining issues resolved.
Acquisition Project Management
- Maintain due‑diligence trackers and provide weekly updates on all live M&A activity.
- Support outbound M&A projects and related workstreams.
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines proven technical project management expertise with strong M&A integration, commercial and organisational awareness. You’ll be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of ERP implementation and data modelling would be a real advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly across finance, operations and executive teams.
- Ability to bring order, structure and clarity to complex, fast‑moving programmes.
