Are you a high-performing sales leader with deep roots in the pensions industry, currently working in the technology space or ready to break away from the traditional trust-sales cycle? If so, we would love to hear from you! An opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning technology firm, renowned for innovation in the pensions sector and offering cutting-edge solutions that are underpinned by their values and passion for transforming financial futures.
Your main task is clear: drive revenue, grow profit, and expand the footprint across both private and public sector markets. You’ll be at the forefront of selling best-in-class solutions and services, unlocking new opportunities, and delivering real value to clients. From first contact to signed contract, you’ll own the full sales cycle, turning insight into action and leads into long-term partnerships.
You’ll report directly to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and work hand-in-hand with expert teams across Product, Propositions, and Market Development. Your insight from the front line won’t just drive sales; it will actively shape how we evolve current offerings and bring new, market-leading solutions to life. This is more than a sales role; it’s your chance to influence the direction of a business that’s redefining how technology serves the pensions industry.
We’re looking for a proven dealmaker, someone with a strong track record of negotiating and closing high-value deals, ideally within the SaaS space and across both public and private sector clients. You’ll bring sharp commercial acumen, a deep understanding of cost models, and a well-established network. Just as importantly, you’ll bring fresh thinking and an innovative mindset that helps shape solutions as well as sell them.
As Business Development Director, you’ll also play a key role in our senior leadership team. You’ll contribute to bi-monthly SLT meetings, bringing insights and ideas not just from a sales perspective, but also around propositions, operational improvements, and broader business activity. This is a leadership role with real influence, both commercially and strategically.
