Job Description
IFA Administrator/Paraplanner, Newcastle. £30,000-£35,000 plus benefits and bonus.
- We are working with a well established IFA based in Newcastle who are looking for an experienced IFA Administrator (ideally with some exposure/experience of Paraplanning as well).
- This is a dual role initially covering Administration and Paraplanning, but progressing into a Paraplanner role.
- This firm is part of a larger group with several offices across the UK.
- You'll be supporting 4 Advisers and a Paraplanner whilst working in a team of Administrators.
- Opportunity to further progress and develop your career within Financial Services is available.
The role:
- Administration and maintenance of client files
- Processing new business applications using various platforms
- Ensuring that financial transactions are completed correctly & compliantly
- Assist with preparing paperwork and research for new & existing client review meetings
- Writing suitability reports
- Undertaking Research and analysis
- Liaising with product and system providers
- Fee and commission reconciliation
- File audits as required
To apply:
- You must have previous experience gained in Financial Services preferably within an IFA.
- Strong communications skills, able to demonstrate the ability to interact with colleagues and clients clearly and concisely.
- Customer focused. Ensuring the customer is always provided with the highest possible service.
- Solid working experience of Word, Excel & Outlook. IO experience a distinct advantage.
- Experience working with Transact and/or Quilter Platforms is desirable.
