Group Financial Analyst to play an key role in shaping strategic decisions relating to M&A. This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise with commercial insight in a dynamic, acquisitive environment.
The Role
As Group Financial Analyst, you will play an important role in the company\’s ongoing M&A activity, delivering high-quality reporting & analysis to inform strategic decision-making. You’ll work closely with the Group Finance & FP&A team, supporting budgeting & forecasting, performance monitoring, and post-M&A integration.
This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced, evolving environment where your financial modelling and analytical skills will directly impact group strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the group’s finance models, including long‑term forecasting.
- Work closely with the Group Finance and FP&A team to gather & analyse relevant commercial data.
- Assess M&A results and performance on overall group performance metrics.
- Update and analyse customer data, identifying areas for business growth.
- Develop Monthly Review Packs for the CFO and Board to support budgeting/forecasting cycles.
- Produce WIP and profitability reporting across various revenue streams and customer groups.
- Enhance cashflow reporting and provide analysis & advice in relation to working capital deployment.
About You
- Experience of working within a Transaction Services or Deals Advisory environment would be highly advantageous.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Understanding of M&A financial modelling and key business performance metrics.
- Excellent presentation skills – comfortable preparing & presenting detailed, commercial information to finance and business leadership teams.
