Synchro is collaborating with one of the UK’s top software companies to recruit a Senior Frontend Developer specialising in React.js for a 6-month contract.
In this role, you will take primary responsibility for front-end development tasks within the backlog, completing some independently and others through pair programming. Working as part of a multidisciplinary squad, you may also contribute to Back-End development, QA, and other areas to ensure sprint goals are achieved.
Our client is currently addressing some technical debt and is on a real mission to rebuild their core platforms using the latest technologies. This platforms services millions of users with highly complex API integrations and a user friendly mobile customer journey. The back end of the new platforms will be primarily designed in a microservices way built using C#.Net Core and the front end UI will be built around React JS
Skills required:
- Attention to detail – taking designs and translating into UI
- Javascript (ES6/7/8)
- HTML5
- CSS3, SASS
- Git experience
- React
- Unit and integration testing experience (ideally Jest, Testing Library, Cypress etc)
- Flux style state management like Redux (Sagas or Thunks) or useReducer
- Styled Components
- Typescript
- Experience with Docker/containers
- Experience setting up projects – linting, formatting, project structure etc.

LOCATION: Fully Remote
DAY RATE: £400 – £500 per day (Outside IR35)
