Location: Leicester / Hybrid – one day per week in the office.

Synchro is partnered with a well-established retail motor vehicle organisation operating within a specialist market. They provide a broad range of services, including new vehicle sales, certified pre-owned vehicles, and comprehensive aftersales support. The software engineering team has delivered significant value through the development of in-house .NET solutions that support both internal operations and customer-facing platforms. Due to continued growth and increased demand for new systems, the team is expanding to support new and existing projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on modern .NET/C# solutions in a collaborative, agile environment, contributing to systems that are used across the organisation.

Technologies:

  • .NET Core / C#
  • MVC and single-page web applications
  • Automated builds and unit testing (NUnit / xUnit)
  • Automated UI and API testing (Playwright)
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Microservice-oriented architecture

What we are looking for:

  • Commercial experience developing software using .NET and C#
  • Experience with the Microsoft development stack
  • Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe)
  • Ability to write and maintain an automated regression test suite
  • Exposure to cloud-based infrastructure is beneficial but not essential
