Synchro is hiring on behalf of a large and well-established organisation, who require a senior and experienced Engineer on an initial 6 month contract, which has the potential to become permanent.
You’ll be the go-to technical expert for complex IT issues, supporting and enhancing infrastructure while ensuring systems remain secure, stable, and high-performing. Providing a blend of 2nd & 3rd line support across hardware, software, and networking, you will lead root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes as well as working with the wider team to coordinate day-to-day helpdesk activities.
This role will involve the administration of servers, virtual environments, and core infrastructure as well as the management of Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS, DHCP. You’ll be familiar with Intune, Exchange, SCCM, and you will have a broad range of exposure involving the support of Microsoft 365 and ideally Azure, although this is more of a ‘nice to have’. Lastly, any security and compliance experience is also beneficial.
