We’re working with a growing fintech company that supports Wealth Management and Financial Planning firms through intuitive client-portal technology. Their platform enhances client engagement, streamlines operations, and simplifies compliance-making financial services smarter and more efficient.
They’re now looking for a proactive IT Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of their cloud environment and help drive performance, security, and scalability across the business.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing and optimising a Microsoft Azure-based infrastructure, working closely with a managed service provider to ensure high availability and reliability. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design, maintain, and improve cloud services, while also supporting security and operational resilience across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise Azure infrastructure and hosting environments
- Monitor performance, scalability, and system reliability
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Support and enhance information security (including ISO27001 processes)
- Manage access controls, cybersecurity measures, and compliance requirements
- Act as a key contact for incidents and infrastructure issues
- Oversee M365, Intune, and core network infrastructure (LAN/Wi-Fi)
- Work with third-party providers and manage IT services/contracts
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and systems
- Experience with information security and compliance (ISO27001 preferred)
- Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
