Synchro are partnering with a leading UK distributor to hire an Ecommerce Integration Engineer to join their Web & IT team. The business runs a high-volume Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform fully integrated with ERP through custom development and automation tools.
In this role, you’ll maintain and enhance integrations between ecommerce, ERP, and third-party systems, ensuring smooth operations, accurate data, and efficient workflows. You’ll work closely with IT and business stakeholders on optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance ecommerce functionality, including payments, shipping, and third-party integrations
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data flows between Magento, ERP, and external systems
- Build and maintain integrations using automation platforms (Workato, Zapier, Power Automate, N8N)
- Improve workflows to reduce errors and increase efficiency
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
- Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with ecommerce platforms (Magento / Adobe Commerce desirable)
- Experience with automation platforms (Workato, Zapier, Power Automate, N8N)
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar
- Ability to write SQL queries for troubleshooting
