We’re hiring on behalf of a growing and well-known Birmingham based organisation for an Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role across its Azure and Microsoft 365 environment. This role is ideally suited to an experienced Infrastructure Engineer or an experienced 3rd Line / IT Support Engineer with strong Azure & infrastructure knowledge who wants to develop further within a modern cloud environment.
You’ll get hands-on exposure to:
- Azure infrastructure, including Entra ID, App Services, Storage, Backups & networking
- Microsoft 365, Intune & Defender
- PowerShell and automation
- Infrastructure as Code using Bicep/ARM & Azure DevOps
This role will also involve monitoring, troubleshooting & performance management. You will be well versed in:
- Azure
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- DNS
- IIS
This role demands someone with solid infrastructure fundamentals, a genuine interest in Azure, good problem-solving skills and the ambition to keep learning. The client is based in Central Birmingham and you will be required to be in the office 2 days per week.
Salary: Up to £60,000 + benefits - this may be negotiable for the right candidate.
