Synchro are partnering with a leading UK distributor to hire a Developer specialising in integrations to join their Web & IT team. The business operates a high-volume Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform that is tightly integrated with their ERP and multiple third-party systems through custom development and automation tooling.
This role sits at the intersection of Magento development, systems integration, and automation, ensuring the ecommerce platform operates seamlessly with back-office systems. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing integrations, optimising data flows, and delivering scalable solutions that support continued ecommerce growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrations between Adobe Commerce (Magento), ERP systems, and third-party platforms
- Support and enhance Magento functionality across payments, shipping, fulfilment, and external services
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise data flows and API integrations
- Build and maintain automation workflows using platforms such as Workato, Zapier, Power Automate, or N8N
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, and system efficiency
- Collaborate with internal IT and business stakeholders to deliver scalable technical solutions
- Document integrations, processes, and system architecture to support ongoing development
Skills & Experience:
- Commercial experience developing or supporting Magento / Adobe Commerce
- Strong understanding of system integrations and API-based architectures
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations
- Ability to write SQL queries for troubleshooting and data validation
- Experience working with ERP integrations or complex ecommerce environments would be advantageous
