We’re looking for an experienced IoT Product Manager to take ownership of the growing Sync Energy ecosystem, supporting over 50,000 users in a fast-scaling, innovation-led business. This is a pivotal role where you’ll sit at the centre of product delivery—coordinating global teams across the UK, China, and India—driving product performance, innovation, and user experience in the smart energy space.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Product & Roadmap Ownership
- Own and manage the product roadmap for the Sync Energy platform
- Lead Agile delivery, running sprints and maintaining backlog priorities
- Write detailed functional specifications and user flows
- Oversee testing, validation, and final release sign-off
- App & UX Management
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to design and evolve the app experience
- Approve designs in Figma and manage developer handovers
- Oversee beta testing programmes (including TestFlight)
- Monitor app store performance, reviews, and ratings
- Technical & Integration Leadership
- Manage third-party integrations (including energy suppliers and partners)
- Coordinate API development and system architecture
- Support technical certifications and product compliance
- Operations & Support
- Monitor and resolve technical issues and support tickets
- Manage incident response and downtime events
- Work closely with engineering teams on testing and quality assurance
- Commercial & Stakeholder Management
- Oversee budget tracking (including AWS costs and optimisation)
- Manage supplier relationships and development partners
- Collaborate with Marketing on product launches, content, and campaigns
- Global Collaboration
- Lead cross-functional meetings with international teams
- Support internal stakeholders with product updates and roadmaps
- Travel occasionally in the UK for project collaboration
What We’re Looking For
- Experience managing digital or IoT products in an Agile environment
- Strong product ownership mindset with roadmap and delivery experience
- Proven ability to write clear, detailed technical specifications
- Experience working with tools such as Figma, App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and MS Project (or similar)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Experience within IoT, smart energy, or EV charging platforms
- Background in app ecosystem product management
- Understanding of APIs, software development, and technical environments
- Experience using AI tools
- Mandarin language skills
