Due to growth, Synaptics Energy Solutions Ltd are actively seeking a Trainee Site Engineer to assist the remotely based Lead Engineer on site carrying out a multitude of different tasks as part of varied M&E projects. Synaptics Energy Solutions Ltd are a multi-specialist M&E contractor working mainly within the HVAC field. We provide bespoke solutions to our clients, be they working on existing systems to update and future proof building services or designing and installing brand new highly efficient building services solutions. Based in Poole, Dorset, we carry out works nationally.
We are an NICEIC approved electrical contractor, hold Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditation along with being a REFCOM registered refrigeration contractor. Every day is different and no two projects are the same!
Job Description
- Reports to the Lead Engineer / Site Manager / Directors
- 45 hour week, five days in seven. Overtime paid at x1.5 after 45 hours. Includes travel.
- Β£13 per hour
- All uniform and PPE provided
- Subject to a two-month probationary period
- Initial training provided β manual handling, asbestos awareness etc. This will be carried out at our HQ in Dorset
- Regular working away required β accommodation and subsistence provided
- Travel to site in company vehicle
- Carry out duties as required on site
- Adhere to all H&S requirements
- Adhere to methodology laid out in RAMS documentation
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Clean driving licence
- Located within ten miles of Luton, Bedfordshire. Applications from further afield will not be considered.
Desirable
- Previous experience in HVAC industry
- Familiar with use of hand tools or power tools
