We're looking for a highly disciplined, hands-on Innovation Lab Manager to take full ownership of a flagship technology showcase environment. This isn't a back-office IT role — you'll be the person who makes sure the lab is always operational, always impressive, and always ready for senior stakeholders and VIPs to walk through the door.
You’ll combine genuine technical capability with an operational mindset, working independently to keep the lab running to an exceptional standard while delivering against both planned activity and last-minute, high-pressure requests from senior leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Keeping the innovation lab fully operational, configured, and demo-ready at all times.
- Building, maintaining, and evolving emerging technology demonstrations.
- Supporting stakeholder engagements, briefings, and innovation sessions.
- Maintaining exceptional physical and technical standards — a structured, organised, controlled environment.
- Identifying and resolving issues independently, without waiting for escalation.
- Taking ownership of ad-hoc and non-standard requests from Management.
- Delivering under short timelines and shifting requirements with a genuine “can do” attitude.
Strong hands-on technical capability is required, along with a track record of operating independently with clear accountability for outcomes. High attention to detail and a standards-driven mindset are essential, as is confidence engaging directly with senior stakeholders and VIPs.
This role represents the lab as a flagship capability — a smart, professional appearance and VIP-ready conduct are expected at all times. If you take pride in precision, thrive on ownership rather than escalation, and want a role where your standards directly shape how senior leadership and external visitors experience the organisation's innovation capability — this is built for you.
