We are seeking an experienced Digital Business Analyst with a strong track record of delivering Azure-based solutions within the public sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging business needs and technical delivery, working across digital transformation programmes in secure, regulated environments.
Experience within policing, justice, or wider government organisations is highly desirable, along with familiarity with SC-cleared environments and associated governance.
Key Skills & Experience- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on digital / cloud transformation programmes
- Strong experience working with Microsoft Azure (e.g., cloud migration, platform implementation, SaaS/PaaS solutions)
- Demonstrable experience within the UK public sector
- Experience working in secure environments requiring SC clearance
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., BPMN, user stories, use cases)
- Knowledge of data, integration, and API-driven architectures
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous
- Experience or exposure to Microsoft Fabric (e.g., data integration, analytics, or unified data platform capabilities)
- Background in policing, criminal justice, or law enforcement environments
- Experience working with sensitive or classified data
- Understanding of GDS (Government Digital Service) standards and service assessments
- Experience with identity and access management, security, and compliance in Azure
- Relevant certifications (e.g., BCS Business Analysis, Agile, Azure Fundamentals or higher)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities
- Ability to work effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
- Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset
