Are you an experienced Senior Product Manager / UK Payments SME with deep expertise in CHAPS and RTGS payments looking to make a real impact within a fast-growing bank? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of critical payment products and help shape the future of high-value payments across the UK and Europe. Working closely with the CPO, you’ll define and deliver the roadmap for key payment capabilities while driving innovation across a modern banking platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the CHAPS / RTGS payments roadmap
  • Lead direct CHAPS integration with the Bank of England and Pay.UK
  • Act as the SME across CHAPS, Faster Payments, Bacs, and SEPA
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions
  • Work closely with engineering, product, and operational teams in an agile environment
  • Partner with regulators, schemes, and banking partners on payment initiatives
  • Drive improvements across payment infrastructure, reliability, and scalability
  • Track emerging trends including ISO 20022, Open Banking, Stable coins, Digital Assets and real-time payments

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Product Management experience within payments or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of UK payment schemes, particularly CHAPS (essential)
  • Experience delivering payment products in banks, fintechs, or PSPs
  • Direct scheme integration experience is highly desirable
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments
