The Opportunity

We are seeking a

Senior AI Security Engineer to join a leading global financial institution, working on the development and security of the organisation's next-generation

Generative AI and LLM-based applications .

This is a specialist engineering role focused on designing, developing and enhancing a

Gen AI prompt security platform , helping protect enterprise AI applications from prompt injection, adversarial attacks and emerging AI security threats .

You will work closely with Engineering, Cyber Security and Operations teams across the organisation to build secure, scalable solutions and automated security testing capabilities for a range of LLM use cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, optimise and enhance a

Gen AI prompt security platform .

  • Build and automate security testing frameworks to validate protection mechanisms across different LLM use cases.
  • Develop security controls and solutions to protect against prompt injection and adversarial attacks .
  • Design and implement secure APIs and reusable security libraries .
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of enterprise AI security solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are designed to operate reliably and securely at enterprise scale .
  • Contribute to system architecture, design patterns, scalability and reliability.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Cyber Security and Operations stakeholders across global teams.
  • Support the development of

AI security standards and best practices across the organisation.

Key Requirements

7+ years of relevant industry experience in software engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • Strong programming experience with

Python and/or Go .

  • Strong experience designing and implementing secure APIs and enterprise software solutions .
  • Background in

Cyber Security Engineering, Dev Sec Ops or MLSec Ops .

  • Experience with

Generative AI, LLM frameworks, prompt engineering and/or adversarial testing .

  • Experience contributing to enterprise architecture and system design .
  • Strong understanding of security, reliability, scalability and enterprise software development.
  • Experience working with containerised environments , such as Kubernetes or Open Shift.
  • Experience delivering solutions across large and complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
