Synapri are currently working with a leading public sector body to hire 2 Cyber Security Engineers for a fully remote (UK-based) contract. This role will require active SC-Clearance and prior experience with a broad range of cybersecurity tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the SOC to implement SIEM technology
  • Automating security workflows to streamline incident response
  • Utilising cloud environments across both Azure and AWS
  • Assisting with Incident Management
  • Contributing to platform automation and DevOps practices
  • Utilising XQL queries and databases

Key Skills:

  • Active SC Clearance required
  • Palo Alto Experience, ideally across XSIAM and XSOAR
  • XQL and SQL Database exposure
  • Experience within SOC Centre environments
  • Network security experience and knowledge
  • Experience within Agile environments, utilising tools like JIRA dashboards
