Product Manager – Cross Border & International Payments
My client is a Challenger Bank, and they are recruiting for a Product Manager with a strong background in Cross Border and International Payments.
Key Responsibilities and Competencies:
- Work closely with the Head of Payments to develop and execute the product roadmap for international payments.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Cross Border and International Payments.
- Proven experience in end-to-end product ownership, working directly with engineers—ideally with experience in open APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Collaborate with the payments operations team to document end-to-end operational processes.
- Own the payment product roadmap and manage engineering squad capacity to deliver exceptional products.
- Experience working in fintech, fast-paced agile payment service providers, FX, agency banking, or similarly dynamic environments.
- Lead multi-departmental and stakeholder workshops for story mapping, requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
- Act as a servant leader to scrum teams—articulating vision and requirements, drawing process flows (current and future), writing detailed requirements, and maintaining a healthy backlog.
- Strong experience as a Product Owner, with a proven track record of delivering value and innovation in challenging environments.
